In the garden
To make sense of why the world is so broken today, we have to go right back to the beginning. Back when God spoke all creation into being and gave life to every living creature, including that of Adam. A truth which of course the evolutionist seeks to deny in his attempt to run from God. But we know from scripture that God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden for a purpose – to glorify God and enjoy him forever. Satan, however twisted what God had said and Adam and Eve gave it all up because of the pride in their hearts. They wanted to be like God and they swallowed the Devils lie. The Garden would no longer be their home and the human race would never be the same again. The bible says: Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned Romans 5:12
Separated
From this point on, the heart of every man and women would be infected with sin. Whilst God has never stopping loving His creation, because of Adams disobedience all of us are born in sin and separated from a Holy God. Sin is breaking the commandments of God as found in His Holy Word. Before God we are all guilty because we all fall short of Gods Holy Standard. And because God is just and righteous, He must punish all sin and all who reject Him. A choice which will ultimately take sinners to a lost eternity, in a place called Hell. Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: However, God designed a plan to rescue precious souls from this terrible end.
Jesus made a way
God so loved you, He sent His only begotten son to this earth over 2000 years ago, He was born of a virgin called Mary as our only way of Salvation. He lived a sinless life, He healed the sick, open blinded eyes, unstopped deaf ears, delivered the demon possessed, and raised the dead. However, the greatest thing He did was to die on the cross for you. Jesus the sinless one, paid the debt of sin for all mankind. He died in our place to settle our sin account. But that's not all; three days later, he defeated death, and the power of the devil, by rising from the grave and proclaimed victory over sin. A victory which you can know by, acknowledging your sins before Him, repenting (turning away from sin) accepting what Christ did and placing your trust in Him. Jesus called this, being ‘born again’ 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
A river of life
This is only the beginning of what God has in store for you. Not only is it God's will that none should perish, He also wants to give us life and life more abundant. Joy, peace and power to live life just as God had originally planned. Jesus didn't grow old and die like other men. He was taken up into Heaven to be with His heavenly Father shortly after His resurrection. In His place He sent the Holy Spirit so that we would always know His presence even after He left this physical earth. Jesus promised for all who would follow Him the power of the Holy Spirit. To be an effective witness for Him, rivers of living waters flowing from our inner being. The Bible tells us, that if we taste and see, we will know that the Lord is good. You will be blessed beyond measure to the point where you will want everyone else to experience this water of life also.
